We have an opportunity for a Senior Web Developer with great website development skills and a strong sense of clean software design to lead our front end development team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to create web UI solutions independently and also work well both giving and taking direction in a team-based environment. This leadership position requires strong design and software development skills, technical savvy, great attention to detail, and proven expertise in front end web development. Demonstrated portfolio of work and successful track record of team leadership is essential. This position includes both high-level design as well as hands-on development.
Essential Job Functions
- 6+ years experience in web development, including DHTML, JavaScript and CSS
- 6+ years experience with the software development cycle: product specification, design, implementation, QA, deployment
- 6+ years proficiency with both Client & Server-side programming including: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, ASP Knowledge of
HTTP protocol and in-depth experience in web API design
- 4+ Experience with ASP.NET and the .NET Framework
- 4+ years experience with XML/XSL or equivalent
- 4+ years experience with Transact-SQL languages and Access/Oracle databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)
- Understanding of good UI design
- General knowledge of W3C recommendations and web standards

Position Overview:
In this role you will serve as the technical design authority and support enterprise architecture solutions by analyzing client requirements and designing solutions; defining associated IT requirements for security, standardization and architecture; programming the solutions; and/or implementing and administering acquired solutions. Duties include:
